7/17/11 Show

Hey all,

There was no theme this week. It was just me. There were no requests. I just put together a playlist and played it. It was great. I played some old black metal and some other stuff we don't play too often, and that was awesome. The regular stuff I played was great too. It was a great show, and I really enjoyed doing it.

Part of the reason it was good is probably because I was able to find some actually interesting pieces of news. ICS Vortex is releasing his solo album, "Storm Seeker" on August 22. I'm excited for what he calls "a tribute to the fall and rise of [his] kind." Also, Iced Earth's has a new album coming out, Dystopia. This album is he first featuring their new lead singer, Stu block. They're show today in Finland at the Ilossarock Festival was streamed live. And Dani Filth was pinned to the round by a security guard in France.
